And I thought to myself 48 hours before leaving the town I had called home longer than anywhere … this song is so romantic 

I am your season - The Womack Sisters

Then later, I heard this song and smiled for a full minute.  This group is the top of the game right now in my opinion. Can’t wait to see them next month in Brooklyn.

Setting us up for the next playlist Brittany Howard gets to the heart of the matter in her way. I love the Brittany Howard’s voice playfully dances around and on top of vowels and consonants yet always lands perfectly at the heart of the matter. 10.0 score every time.

Nashville country music fans, Americans, heck the entire world is mourning Dolly Parton today. Her contributions to our culture are immeasurable. This power Trio of iconic singers and friends came together in 1987 to make this incredible record. Enough from me. Let’s all just listen, and weep together.
